Bag Totes for Wildlife - Golden-rayed Blue Butterfly

With your support, we’ve got conservation in the bag. With a wingspan of less than 3cm, the Endangered Golden-rayed Blue Butterfly is not only small but special too – they are the only known butterfly species to be found exclusively in Victoria.

 For every Totes for Wildlife bag sold Zoos Victoria will plant a Creeping Boobialla shrub for the Golden-rayed Blue Butterfly in their native habitat in the Wimmera in western Victoria. The shrubs for planting will be grown at the Dalki Garringa Native Nursery run by the Barengi Gadjin Land Council, which represents the Traditional Owners in the Golden-rayed Blue Butterfly’s habitat.
